The Mendes Library is shaping up as a wonderful source for reference, research and personal development. The intended purpose is this...

Although there are files available, and links to external services that house books that are copy written, if you read a book through this site and there is a link to purchase, go for it. All the digital copies in the world can not amount to the warmth, feel, smell and aesthetics of a finely bound literary piece.

The intention here-in:
When frequenting other sites, or engaging in discussions 'web-wide' or starting your own, you have an invaluable resource at your finger tips. Most files are enabled to select text for quotes, making fact one of your strong suits. I encourage you to familiarize yourself with any passing whim in indulgence of wisdom. This is the reason these files exist, for your own enlightenment and to refine your convictions and further your Libertine Path. Essentially providing a formidable collection for research, reference and personal enrichment.

Tools:
In increasing the capacity of our site, I've been able to add a series of works boasting the phrase 'Complete'. This is wonderful because it means that these compilations will contain a total collection of said authors creations. In finding these files through easily accessible web resources, the time has come to share any free tools you may need in order to obtain the offered resources. When you see a file which ends in '.RAR or .rar' it means that it is a compressed 'zip' folder. If you do not have a .zip or .rar file extraction program, you can download 'WinRAR' from these links if you have Windows as an O/S. Windows 32 bit or Windows 64 bit. If you have a Mac, you can get the 'RAR expander'.

When viewing a .pdf, Adobe Reader is the most common program used. In fact, I would be surprised if any of you do not have this software. If you are unable to view, and do not have adobe, you can get it free from the source here. If you have a Mac, it's offered here.

I'm trying best I can to provide our resources in a manner that can be respected and does not take away from the livelihood of our world's greater and diabolical minds. As such, you may notice files change often to links or removed and changed to a review or alternate source. If you are a visiting author and find a publication that could be considered an issue for Mendes in legal matters, please send me a personal message and I will remedy your frustrations or infuriates. I only ask that if you also have an alternative in mind, that I am always open to suggestion.

Members are encouraged to add any resources that they encounter on their searches as well. If it is questionable in copy write, please exercise due diligence in making the access easy, but the source 'off site'.

What are some of the resources out there?
I've found just a couple that have been invaluable in acquiring resources. One such 'engine' is scribd. The other of course is google, add the phrase 'free .pdf' to your inquiries and anyone can find what we have here...
We are truly on an information super highway, but keep in mind...these people dedicated their lives to informing you and sharing their work. Seize any convenient opportunity to contribute to their profession, and to your own cherished tangible library.

*A message regarding dowloading files*
Use care when visiting external links, sometimes when a user uploads a file to a server they may be unaware that their computer has spyware, adware, malware, viruses and trojans. Typically the server will have security that sifts these files and removes them if they are harmful.Use sound judgment when acquiring files, that you do not open them until you have scanned them with your A.V. or Spyware programs. Files housed in Mendes are safe, my security program is 'top notch'. Mendes will not be held accountable if you do not heed this warning or explore related links and end up with any PC related problems. Common sense and care will make this situation a rarity. A tool that can be helpful in warning of possible threats is McAffee Site Advisor. This is a free browser plug-in.
